My goals as a filmmaker differ from many of my peers; I’m not drawn to writing or directing my own films, but I see myself as an editor and a collaborator, someone who helps achieve people’s visions through post-production work. 

I am especially inspired by films like The Lord of the Rings (dir. Peter Jackson, released 2001-2003) and Little Women (dir. Greta Gerwig, released 2019), where editing balances intimacy with passion. Editing allows me to explore the rhythm of a story: the quiet pauses that give space for breath, or the fast-paced cuts that bring energy. I am drawn to creating moments that reflect the beauty of both story and life. It’s about making decisions that are both technical and emotional, shaping how the director’s vision and the audience’s experience intertwine.

Looking ahead, I want to continue shaping films that highlight connection: between editor and director, crew and audience, and exploring how I can create meaning through edits.
